About This Tour
Abu Simbel is one of the most iconic ancient monuments in the world. The two temples, carved into the rock by Ramses II and dedicated to himself and his wife Nefertari, sit on the shore of Lake Nasser, far in the south of Egypt.
We do the tour as a day trip by bus from Aswan with an early start. The drive takes about three hours each way. The two hours at the temples are easily worth it.
Optionally we can combine the trip with the Sound and Light show the evening before.
