About This Tour

Three carefully planned days through the most important historical sites of Luxor. East Bank and West Bank, royal tombs and temple complexes, all explained by a licensed local guide who has grown up with these stories.

Each day combines must-see sights with quieter, less crowded places that most tour groups skip. Your guide adapts the pace to your interests, your fitness and the weather, and you keep the freedom to add or remove stops along the way.

Hotel pickups are included on every day. You experience Luxor as a private guest, not as part of a large coach group.

Day-by-Day Itinerary

Day 1

Valley of the Kings and the Tombs of the Nobles

Morning pickup at 7:00 from your hotel. We drive to the West Bank and visit the Valley of the Kings, including three carefully chosen tombs with vivid hieroglyphs and burial scenes. Afterwards we explore the Tombs of the Nobles, where the wall paintings show daily life in ancient Egypt rather than royal ceremony. Drop-off at your hotel in the afternoon.

Day 2

Karnak, Luxor Temple and an Evening in the City

We start at 8:00 with the immense Karnak Temple complex, including the Hypostyle Hall and the Sacred Lake. Continue to Luxor Temple, connected to Karnak by the historic Avenue of Sphinxes. Lunch break and rest at your hotel. In the evening at 20:00 we pick you up again for a guided city walk through the lively streets of Luxor.

Day 3

West Bank Highlights, Hatshepsut, Medinet Habu and Workers Tombs

Morning pickup at 8:00. We visit the only Queen Temple of Egypt, the terraced Mortuary Temple of Hatshepsut, followed by Medinet Habu, the best preserved temple in Luxor and dedicated to Ramses III. We continue to the Tombs of the Workers (the craftsmen who carved the royal tombs) and the Ramesseum, the mortuary temple of Ramses II. Drop-off at your hotel around 13:30.
