About This Tour
A hot air balloon ride over Luxor at sunrise is one of the most unforgettable experiences in all of Egypt. From the basket you see the Mortuary Temple of Hatshepsut, the Ramesseum, Medinet Habu and the Colossi of Memnon, the green strip of the Nile and the desert beyond.
The flight itself lasts roughly one hour. The whole experience including pickup, transfer and the boat crossing of the Nile takes about half a morning.
Ideal as a one-off highlight at the start of a multi-day Luxor itinerary or in combination with our Valley of the Kings tour.

Before sunrise
Hotel Pickup

Nile crossing
Short transfer by motor boat across the Nile to the West Bank launch site.
Balloon flight
Roughly one hour in the air. Hatshepsut, Medinet Habu, Ramesseum, Colossi of Memnon and the Nile from above.
Soft breakfast
Calm landing on the West Bank, soft breakfast or coffee, then drive back to your hotel.
