About This Tour

Karnak is the largest religious building ever constructed in the ancient world. Together with Luxor Temple, both connected by the historic Avenue of Sphinxes, they form the spiritual heart of ancient Thebes.

Our private evening tour gives you both sites at the best possible time: softer light, fewer crowds, and the special atmosphere when the temples are gradually illuminated as the sun sets.

Your licensed local guide explains the building history, the gods worshipped here and the meaning of the hieroglyphs that no guidebook fully captures.

Highlights

Karnak Temple complex with the Hypostyle Hall and Sacred Lake
Luxor Temple, beautifully lit after sundown
Avenue of Sphinxes, connecting both temples
Softer evening light, ideal for photography
Smaller crowds compared to morning tours
