About This Tour

The West Bank of Luxor was the realm of the dead in ancient Egypt: mortuary temples, tombs and workers' villages all carved into the desert. This private half-day tour focuses on the three most rewarding sites that most large group tours skip.

You start at the terraced Mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, then visit Medinet Habu, the best preserved temple in Luxor with its vivid carved reliefs of Ramses III. The tour finishes at the Tombs of the Workers, the craftsmen who carved the royal tombs in the Valley of the Kings.

Your licensed local guide adapts the pace and length to your interests.
